Live Baccarat

For the love of winning on Baccarat

I've always been a big fan of Baccarat. Before Live Casino though, it was really hard to get around to play it, as I really didn't have any friends that had the same interest. And how often would I take myself to Vegas? Or a dodgy club in someone's basement? Not that often to be honest. My current personal favorite online casino that offers Live Baccarat has to be Codeta.

The amount of different Baccarat games that are on display here, that I can pick for is literally amazing! Out of the bunch, I really enjoy Punto Banco, so great! Below are the basics of this great game, that I sincerely urge you all to try! Newbie or not. I've shamelessly borrowed the below sections from Codeta's great Baccarat Guide. Be sure to check it out!

Basic rules in Punto Banco Baccarat

Baccarat is always played between two players, regardless of how many are seated at the table. One is the bank, the other is the player. In the Punto Banco version of Baccarat, the house plays as the bank. At first, two cards per hand are dealt. The points of these cards determine whether a third card is dealt. If the player hand consists of an 8 or 9 this is known as a “natural” and the player will not get any more cards. The rules for how cards are dealt after this point differs between bankers and players.

Bets in Punto Banco Baccarat

You bet on the outcome of the game. As a player, you can bet against yourself – that is, that the banker will win – but you can also bet on yourself and on a tie (that is, both banker and player receive the same number of points). So even if you lose the points game, you can still win money.
Make sure you understand everything before opening a Baccarat table online. You would not want to find yourself in a situation where you bet high amounts of money on a round of Baccarat where you think that you are winning, but in fact the complicated rules are against you.

Godspeed you all!
